San Juan School District's 2025-2030 Strategic Plan started with 589 survey responses from students, parents, teachers, staff and community members. Ten focus groups followed. Then six rounds of community feedback.
Two pillars came out of the work:
Educate and Empower. A district-wide college and career readiness plan. Academic goal setting for every student, with families at the table. Yearly projects where students improve their own communities.
Unite and Engage. Redesigned district and school websites. Timely, transparent communication. More ways for you to weigh in on district decisions.
One vision ties them together: UNITE to EMPOWER.
