Today MCES buses are loading from the front of the school due to some heavy equipment obstructing our normal bus loading zone in the back of the school. Parents who pick up their students from the front are asked to be patient and give buses priority in using the parking lot. Please be mindful of student safety today as students are dismissed. This is a temporary change and hopefully today only.

Under the recommendation of law enforcement, we are canceling in-person classes at Montezuma Creek Elementary for tomorrow (October 27). We will hold K-6 classes virtually. Classroom teachers will email parents/students through Aspire with specific virtual learning assignments. We plan on all students returning to school on Monday morning, October 30.

After collaboration with law enforcement, the Secure Mode has been lifted for Montezuma Creek Elementary. Safety is our highest priority and today's Secure Mode protocol was put in place out of an abundance of caution. Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping all students safe!
