There will be no school from Wednesday, Nov. 27- Friday, Nov. 29, due to Thanksgiving break. School will resume on Monday, Dec. 2. We hope all of our MCES families have a happy and restful break with loved ones.
We are so proud of all our MCES pageant contestants. Everyone did an amazing job showcasing their language, skills, and talent on Thursday night. We also want to acknowledge and thank our 23-24 Princess and Brave, Quinia and Noah who represented our school and community with honor this last year. Congratulations to our new 24-25 Princess and Brave, Mikayli and Tanner!
The MCES Princess and Brave pageant will be held on Thursday, November 21. Applications are due Monday, November 18, before 3 PM. Applications to can be picked up in the front office or from the Heritage Language teachers.
Our annual Christmas Bazaar will be held on December 5 in the MCES gym. Call 678-1261 for more information
UNHS Family Night at MCES is tonight from 5:00- 6:00 PM in the cafeteria. Join us for food, prizes, and to learn about Navajo Wellness concepts.
There is no school on Monday, November 11, in honor of Veterans Day.

We are excited to announce that the Afterschool program is returning to Montezuma Creek Elementary!
This program will be run through USU Extension, and be a 4-H Afterschool Program.
Before we can get the program up and running, we need to hire 4 amazing people to help run our awesome program!
Please share with anyone you know who loves to work with youth, has a passion for 4-H, and a willingness to be a part of a great team!
